Free Trial Period for NIBS, AIA Members Ends September 30 The Building Research Information Knowledgebase (BRIK) searchable database, a joint venture of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS), was widely expanded through the addition of the EBSCO Discovery Service, adding thousands of titles in three databases now searchable through BRIK. The National Institute of Building Sciences Off-Site Construction Council (OSCC) conducted a survey in the fall of 2014 to gain an understanding of how the U.S. construction sector is using off-site construction techniques and technologies.
